For years, Resilient Palisades has advocated against the installation of artificial turf at the Palisades Recreation Center. Following the September 2026 decision to move forward with synthetic turf on the Field of Dreams, Communications Director and Board Member Sara G. Marti looked back at the history of the campaign and the community members who continued fighting it even while navigating their own fire recovery.
