Request a Cleanup in the Palisades
See litter, loose nails and screws, larger debris or a blocked sidewalk that needs attention? Tell us where it is and our Anti Litter League will review the request.
We respond as volunteer capacity allows, and submitting a request does not guarantee that we can complete the cleanup.
Cleanup requests are always free. If you would like to support this work, a donation helps us purchase magnetic rollers, trash grabbers, gloves, heavy duty bags and other cleanup supplies.

Cleaning Up as We Rebuild
Construction and rebuilding are bringing progress back to the Palisades, but they are also leaving behind litter, nails, broken signs and other debris.
The Anti Litter League is a Resilient Palisades initiative created to do something about it.
We organize neighborhood cleanups, support cleanup events led by other community groups and help neighbors take action where they live.
What We’ve Accomplished So Far
Between August 26 and October 4, the Anti-Litter League recruited new volunteers and worked with Palisades residents and students from the Palisades YMCA Youth and Government program.
Together, they filled fifty 33 gallon bags with litter and multiple carts with larger debris, including a microwave. They also collected 690 nails and screws, 40 advertising signs, and 97 cans and bottles.
Residents have also helped by reporting dangerous debris and blocked sidewalks. When one report showed that a mother and child had to step into morning traffic on Sunset Boulevard to avoid a blocked sidewalk, volunteers responded that same day.
Everyone Is Welcome
You can join as an individual, family, student, school group, neighborhood group or local business.
Come to one cleanup or become a regular member of the League. No special experience is needed. We will share the location, timing and what to bring before each event. Community service hours available!
